AI share of voice

Your AI share of voice, against every rival by name

AI share of voice is the share of AI answers that name your brand. CueScout counts it across every tracked question and engine and ranks you against each competitor you track. In the demo workspace, Saucony is named in 227 of 402 answers and Nike in 268. Rank, citation rate and average position sit underneath, each compared with the previous window.

How you stack up, answer by answer

The ranking

One table, every brand

Each tracked brand with the answers it was named in, its visibility, its share of voice and its average position, all counted on the same answers as yours.

Competitors table: each running-shoe brand with answers named in, visibility, share of voice and average position

Per brand

Four numbers you can compare

Every brand is measured the same way, so the gaps are real.

Who the engine picked when it skipped you

Each question shows the brands named in your place. When one rival keeps appearing on the questions you miss, start there.

Trend

Share of voice as a line, not a snapshot

Visibility and share of voice week by week, so a rival pulling ahead shows up long before a quarterly report would catch it.

How it works

Included on Starter (up to 2 brands) and Growth (up to 10). Every brand carries its own competitor list.

Compare plans
  1. Add your competitors

Competitors are websites, added in Settings. CueScout suggests likely ones from your category when you start.

  2. Ask the same questions for everyone

Every tracked question goes to each engine on your plan daily. Rivals are measured on exactly the answers you are.

  3. Count who was named

For each answer we record every tracked brand it named and whether it linked them. Share of voice is named answers divided by all answers in the window.

  4. Rank and compare

Brands are ranked by share, with visibility, citation rate, average position and score beside each, and every number compared with the previous window.

What it doesn’t do

  • Share is measured on your tracked questions only. A narrow question list gives a narrow picture.
  • Brands are read out of the answer text, so an answer that describes a category without naming vendors counts for nobody.
  • A rival leading here is leading on those answers, on those days. It is not a market-share figure.
