The Semrush AI Visibility toolkit costs $99/mo per domain. For that you track 25 custom prompts daily and see mentions from ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity, alongside AI competitor analysis, prompt research and an AI-readiness site audit. There is a 7-day free trial.
Semrush also moved AI visibility into its main plans. Semrush One Starter is $199/mo ($165 billed yearly) with 50 prompts and the SEO toolkit, Pro+ is $299 with 100, and Advanced is $549 with 200. If you would pay for Semrush SEO anyway, the bundle is the better deal than the toolkit on its own. If you only want the AI tracking, the Profound alternatives page lists the standalone tools with their prices.

Verdict
Worth it if Semrush is already your home screen
The strongest reason to buy it is proximity. Your AI mentions sit next to the rankings, backlinks and site audit you already check, under one login and one invoice.
The weakest part is the count. Twenty-five prompts per domain is enough to watch a category, but thin for a product with several use cases and competitors. The bundles fix that at a price that only makes sense if you use the SEO side too.
