Cookie Policy: the cookies CueScout sets, and why

Cookies and similar browser storage help a web app remember state, keep sessions secure, understand usage, and attribute visits.

CueScout uses cookies and local storage only for operating the product, improving the workflow, and measuring how visitors find the site.

Essential cookies support authentication, session handling, security, product selection, checkout redirects, and basic app state.

These are required for the product to work and cannot be disabled from inside the app.

Preference cookies can remember choices such as the active product in your workspace or other UI state that makes the dashboard easier to use.

We use Google Analytics, DataFast, and Ahrefs to understand page views, product usage, referrers, UTM parameters, and conversion paths. Google Analytics may set identifiers such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish browsers and sessions.

We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records heatmaps and session replays of how pages are used. Text you type is masked by default. Replays from logged-out visits are anonymous; once you sign in, we associate the session with your account so we can investigate a problem you report and see where the product got in your way.

Analytics helps us improve pages, onboarding, scan quality, and reporting. We do not sell personal information.

Connecting your own Google Analytics property to CueScout is separate from the browser analytics described above. OAuth tokens and reporting data retrieved from your property are server-side integration data, not browser cookies. Our Privacy Policy explains how we access, use, store, share, and delete that data.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, dashboard state, checkout, or attribution features from working correctly.
